Bio
Straight from the heart, straight at the audience.
A frontwoman who sings like she has a score to settle, backed by a band that is firmly on her side. Five Dollar Shake is a five-piece rock band from Utrecht, rooted in the blues but never bound by its rules.
Their debut album, Bigger Heart, arrived in 2024 and was launched with a sold-out show at De Helling. The record received glowing reviews, with Musicmaker calling it “a kick-in-the-gut, upbeat steam train.” The band's sound has kept moving ever since, with live shows
moving effortlessly from full-throttle rock to goosebump-inducing moments and back again.
On December 20, 2026, Five Dollar Shake will bring their own festival to TivoliVredenburg:
FDS Presents: 21st Century Blues. The night will also mark the live premiere of their second album, The Ghost, which is currently in the making.
