You won't find classic 12-bar blues with endless guitar noodling here. With a powerful front woman and a tight-knit band, Five Dollar Shake turn every performance into an intensely felt live show.
The band was the surprising winner of the 2024 Dutch Blues Challenge, and in 2025 they represented the Netherlands at the European Blues Challenge in Split. That same year, their debut album Bigger Heart dropped.
On December 20th, 2026, Five Dollar Shake bring their own festival to TivoliVredenburg, Utrecht — FDS Presents: 21st Century Blues. And they won't be arriving empty-handed: the evening marks the release of their second album, currently in the making.
